AK Takeaway

Anita’s Kitchen has been a staple of Mediterranean cuisine in Detroit for years. They decided they wanted to expand into a takeout version with a new, fresh, clean look. The project included logo design, menu overhauls, interior signage, marketing prints, and a website showcasing their food.

The Problem

The original Anita’s Kitchen branding has a very old world historic feel and look to it. AK Takeaway needed to feel and look like its own new brand that is modern and sophisticated. They planned for multiple locations so each location needed it’s own landing page with the ability to easily navigate to each location.

The Solution

I designed a brand for them that was very clean and modern. Utilizing simple natural textures and imagery that focused on their food dishes allowed their food to be the focal point. Carrying over the font styles, color palette and clean look to menu’s and marketing tools gives the entire brand a cohesive feel. A landing page for each location was created with similar layouts but varying imagery makes each page feel unique but part of the same brand. Since the new brand they have opened 3-4 locations including one at the Detroit airport.
