FordDirect is a advertising and marketing department of Ford Motors. They help aid Ford dealers with all their marketing needs. As this department grew, their need for an intranet grew as well. Their first attempt left them with an intranet that most of the employees did not utilize because of organizational issues and lack of friendly interfaces. As their newest member of the marketing team I was tasked with re-designing the company intranet. The goal was to make documents, forms, policies, news, events and lunch menu easy to access and digest by everyone in the company.
